Important Information Regarding the New Cigna Plan For Prisma Employees:

Please be advised that the new Cigna plan under Prisma Health may include a high deductible for certain services. As a result, you may be responsible for out-of-pocket expenses for sessions until your deductible has been met, unless you have chosen a higher-tier plan with Prisma.

We encourage you to contact your benefits provider directly to confirm your specific coverage details and any associated costs.

Insurance deductible and payment policy notice:

As we approach the time of year when insurance deductibles often reset, we’d like to share a friendly reminder about our billing policy. Any applicable copayments, coinsurance, or deductible amounts are the client’s responsibility and are expected at the time of service. If a balance remains after three sessions, future appointments may need to be paused until the balance is resolved. Additionally, balances not paid in full within 30 days may be processed through automatic payment in accordance with our policy terms (see below).

Session Fees and Payment Policy: It is customary to pay for professional services at the time services are rendered. Payment and insurance co-payments/deductibles will be expected at each visit unless alternative arrangements have been made with your therapist in advance. IF PAYMENT OF FEES ARE NOT PAID WITHIN 30 DAYS, YOU GIVE PERMISSION TO HAVE THE CREDIT CARD ON FILE AUTOMATICALLY CHARGED FOR ANY REMAINING BALANCE.

Important Information on Access to Care for Tricare Prime Patients:

As a practice that is considered a “Participating certified out of network provider” with Tricare, Tricare Prime members will require a referral from their PCM. All other forms of Tricare will have a copayment or cost-share due, but will not need a referral to begin services.
